On-Camera Host & Community Content Creator

Community Sports Partners

Toronto, ON โ€ข On-site

Full-time

Re-posted 23 days ago

Job description

You could be the face of SportStars. As our On-Camera Host & Community Content Creator, you'll spend your days at our facilities, fields, and events — capturing the moments that make families want to be part of our community. Interviewing parents after games. Celebrating a child's first goal. Capturing the friendships, the energy, and the impact our programs have on every child, youth, and family we serve.

This is a high-energy, high-output role for someone who genuinely loves being around people and comes alive in front of a camera. You'll create the raw content that fuels our advertising, social media, and brand — working closely with our Head of Growth and Marketing Team to support campaigns, tell our story, and bring more families into our programs and community.

Responsibilities
  • Be on-site at GTA venues 6 days per week, shooting daily across program schedules (weekday evenings and weekends are prime content windows)
  • Host short-form interviews: parents, kids, coaches, staff Create UGC-style vertical video: program highlights, registration moments, facility energy, seasonal campaigns
  • Recruit parents and kids for content on the spot (release forms handled via registration)
  • Feed raw footage to the editing team on a weekly schedule
  • Appear as the recurring on-camera personality in paid ads Collaborate with Head of Growth on monthly content calendars mapped to registration windows
  • This is an on-camera talent position. Selection includes a screen test and an on-site trial day, and on-camera presence is a core part of the role

Requirements

  • Exceptional on-camera presence: energetic, warm, funny, magnetic — the person parents remember
  • Athletic background or authentic sports credibility (played competitively, coached, or lives the active life visibly)
  • Fearless approach to people: you will walk up to strangers at a soccer field and have them laughing in 30 seconds
  • Comfort being the public face of a brand, including in advertising
  • Reliable transportation across GTA venues Experience on camera (creator, host, sideline media, performer, on-air) strongly preferred; raw talent with a killer screen test also accepted
  • Bonus: second language reflecting GTA’s communities (Hindi/Urdu/Punjabi, Mandarin, Tamil, Spanish, etc.)
