Cleaning Technician – Swing Shift
Schedule
Monday – Friday
2:00 PM – 10:30 PM
Position Overview
We are currently seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Cleaning Technician to join our swing shift team in a cleanroom manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for supporting cleaning operations, maintaining cleanliness standards, completing inspection documentation, and ensuring products meet quality and contamination-control requirements.
The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, basic computer skills, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced production environment.
Required Qualifications
  • Basic computer literacy, including data entry, digital travelers, inspection logs, and basic manufacturing software
  • Experience performing pass/fail visual inspections
  • Ability to multitask between inspections, pre-cleaning tasks, and changing production priorities
  • Strong reliability, attendance, and attention to detail
  • Ability to accurately complete documentation, lot tracking, cleaning records, and SOP compliance
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with solvent, ultrasonic, and DI-water cleaning processes
  • Knowledge of cleanroom and ESD protocols, including gowning and contamination-control procedures
  • Ability to communicate effectively with cross-functional teams including coating, metrology, and engineering departments
  • Experience handling optical components, glass substrates, or other small delicate parts
Responsibilities
  • Perform cleaning and inspection processes according to SOPs and quality standards
  • Maintain accurate production and cleaning documentation
  • Conduct visual inspections to identify defects or contamination
  • Handle delicate materials and components carefully and safely
  • Maintain cleanroom standards and follow all gowning and ESD procedures
  • Support production workflow and collaborate with multiple departments as needed
