Responsibilities

  1. Load, unload, and sort floor loaded containers
  2. Package product for movement throughout warehouse
  3. Read and comprehend written instructions and packing lists
  4. Assists QA with pallet transfers and loading and unloading storage trailers.
  5. Assists QA with unloading returns.
  6. Responsible for ensuring pallets are available for unloading
  7. Work in a safe manner, follow all safety rules and report any potential safety hazards to management.
  8. Responsible for ensuring work area is clean and organized per 5S standards.

Qualifications

  1. Must be able to bend, lift, reach, and twist repetitively
  2. Must be able to lift 50 lbs. throughout the course of the day
  3. Must have good physical stamina and ability to handle hot/cold weather
  4. Must speak English fluently and read basic instructions in English.
  5. Must have basic math and computer skills.
  6. Must have a sense of urgency.
  7. Must be a team player, able to work well with others.
  8. Must be flexible with start and end times and work overtime when required

Compensation

*This is a Union Position and pays $19.00/HR

Eligible for Overtime pay after working 8 hours a day Monday-Friday and time and a half for all hours worked on Saturdays
