Job description

We are hiring Class A CDL Drivers for a dedicated container operation based near Freeport, TX. This is an excellent opportunity for drivers with container or tanker experience who are looking for steady work, daily home time, and a consistent schedule. Drivers enjoy modern equipment, local routes, and year-round freight.

This is a highly active position that requires frequent connecting and disconnecting of containers and chassis throughout the day. Drivers should be comfortable with physical work and working in a fast-paced port environment.

Compensation & Benefits

✅ Weekly pay: $1350-$1450 paid by the hour

✅ Consistent year-round freight

✅ Home daily

Bonus Opportunities

✅ $500 Sign on Bonus

  • Paid in full on the second paycheck

Job Details

✅ Home daily

✅ Operate within the Freeport and Houston, TX areas

✅ Work 5–6 days per week

✅ Primarily Monday through Friday

✅ Must be available to work at least one weekend day

✅ Typical start times between 3:00 AM and 7:00 AM

✅ Average 10–12 hour workdays

✅ Local dedicated operation

✅ Refrigerated container operation

Freight Details

✅ Approximately 50% drop and hook

✅ Approximately 50% live load/unload

✅ Frequent container and chassis connections

✅ Inspect containers and chassis throughout the workday

✅ Average 10–12 container moves per day

✅ Highly physical position

Equipment

✅ 2023 day cab tractors

✅ 2022 sleeper tractors

✅ Refrigerated containers

✅ Trucks governed at 65 MPH

Requirements

✅ Valid Class A CDL

✅ Minimum 6 months of container or tanker experience within the last 3 years

✅ TWIC Card required

  • Drivers without a TWIC card must obtain one during their first week
  • TWIC costs are reimbursed

✅ Ability to perform frequent physical activity throughout the day

✅ Ability to repeatedly connect and disconnect containers and chassis

✅ Strong safety record and dependable work ethic

✅ Reliable transportation to and from work
