Location: Hammond, IN
Integrity Trade Services is hiring a Packaging Specialist for our chemical storage industry client to start immediately at $16.00/hr. Receive comprehensive benefits through ITS upon hire!
Responsibilities:
• Perform visual inspections of drums, totes, and pails to ensure cleanliness, dryness, odor-free condition, and vessel integrity before loading.
• Load and unload products from storage tanks, tank cars, tank wagons, and ISO containers, connecting hoses, filters, and managing nitrogen or air service as required.
• Package drums, totes, and pails, including manual unloading of 55-gallon drums, palletizing, and stretch wrapping.
• Transfer products between tanks and containers, including sampling and connecting hoses for blending or shipping.
• Maintain good housekeeping practices and promote excellent customer relations.
Qualifications:
• Ability to regularly lift and move up to 45 pounds.
• Prior experience in packaging.
• Experience dealing with tank wagons or railcars is a plus.
