Job description

Your Contribution:

As a Container Management you will be a strategic leader responsible for designing and executing logistics and asset management initiatives that support efficient, scalable, and sustainable supply chain operations. This role ensures the end-to-end optimization of material and container flows, driving alignment between logistics execution and the company's broader operational and production strategies. 

  • Develop and execute logistics strategies that support production schedules, inventory targets, and customer delivery requirements.
  • Lead cross-functional logistics planning in collaboration with procurement, manufacturing, and engineering to optimize transportation and warehousing.
  • Analyze network performance to identify cost-saving opportunities, improve lead times, and enhance flexibility in the supply chain.
  • Manage relationships with logistics providers and drive service level improvements through performance metrics and scorecards.
  • Oversee the complete lifecycle of reusable containers, including forecasting needs, procurement planning, maintenance, and returnable flow optimization.
  • Implement long-term strategies for container pooling, reverse logistics, and inventory visibility to reduce loss and capital spend.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives using lean principles to streamline logistics and container operations.
  • Lead root cause analyses and corrective actions for container loss, material delivery failures, or capacity constraints.
  • Ensure logistics operations meet internal standards and external compliance requirements (e.g., ISO, safety, transportation, environmental).

Your Experience & Qualifications:

  • Experience in logistics, materials management, or supply chain in an automotive or high-volume manufacturing environment.
  • Proven success in managing reusable container programs and leading logistics strategy development.
  • Proficiency in ERP and logistics systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, TMS, WMS); strong data analysis and process mapping skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead teams, influence stakeholders, and manage vendor relationships.
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and strategic thinking
