Job Description:


JSL is seeking a candidate for a challenging technical electronic assignment. The candidate needs to be a motivated missile technician with Standard Missile (SM) and Tomahawk experience supporting Naval Surface Warfare Center Port Hueneme (NSWC PHD) at Naval Weapons Station Seal Beach, CA. Primary responsibility is providing electrical and electromechanical repair services in the Container Repair Shop. May include disassembly and assembly of container components and wiring harness repair. Prepare containers for final inspection. Ability to read schematics and drawings, perform diagnostic testing and component level replacement required. Provides engineering technical assistance for VLS, MK 13 and MK 14 containers.

Minimum Qualifications:


โ€ข Must be legally authorized to in the United States without the need of employer sponsorship now or at any time in the future

โ€ข Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Security Clearance level Secret

โ€ข Good communication and interpersonal skills

โ€ข Follows established SOPs and work instructions and strives towards continuous improvement

โ€ข High School Diploma or equivalent

โ€ข Electrical circuit and assembly troubleshooting experience

โ€ข 3 or more years related experience


Preferred Qualifications:


โ€ข Missile container experience

โ€ข MK 13 and MK 14 Experience

โ€ข Ordnance systems experience


Security Clearance:


Applicants must have an active security clearance and/or the ability to obtain and maintain a US government security clearance. Selected candidates will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements to obtain a DoD government-granted security clearance. Individuals will be subject to a background investigation including but not limited to, criminal history, employment and education verification, drug testing, and creditworthiness.
