Job description

Benefits:
  • Flexible schedule

  • Training & development
  • Wellness resources

DigiOffice is seeking a battle-tested Senior Azure & Kubernetes Platform Engineer to own, operate, and optimize a large-scale Microsoft Azure environment supporting a national logistics and transportation operation. This is a pure infrastructure and platform engineering role — not application development. We need someone who understands Azure from the network and OS layers through Kubernetes and cloud-native services, and who can independently solve complex production problems without waiting for direction.
If you've built and run AKS clusters in production, designed Azure networking architecture from scratch, and can troubleshoot a broken environment at the TCP/IP layer — this role was written for you.

This is a 100% on-site role in Johns Creek, GA. Remote or hybrid candidates will not be considered.

Key Responsibilities
  • End-to-end Microsoft Azure platform management including compute, networking, storage, identity, security, monitoring, availability, and cost optimization.
  • Engineering, administration, troubleshooting, and optimization of Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) and Kubernetes environments at enterprise scale.
  • Complex infrastructure diagnostics using deep knowledge of the OSI model — TCP/IP, DNS, routing, load balancing, firewalls, TLS, and application connectivity.
  • Azure infrastructure design and maintenance using Infrastructure as Code and automation tooling.
  • Support of highly available, secure enterprise production environments with zero tolerance for unplanned downtime.
  • Cross-functional collaboration with application, network, security, and infrastructure teams to resolve complex platform issues.
Required Qualifications
  • 7+ years of infrastructure and cloud engineering experience.
  • Deep, hands-on Microsoft Azure administration and platform engineering — not surface-level familiarity.
  • Strong production AKS / Kubernetes experience — owning the cluster, not just deploying into one.
  • Expert-level Azure networking: VNets, subnets, NSGs, routing, private endpoints, DNS, load balancers, and hybrid connectivity.
  • Excellent OSI / TCP-IP networking fundamentals and production troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong Linux systems knowledge.
  • Infrastructure as Code proficiency — Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates.
  • Scripting and automation experience — PowerShell, Bash, or Python.
  • Azure Monitor / Log Analytics and production incident troubleshooting experience.
  • Microsoft Entra ID / RBAC and cloud security fundamentals.
  • This is a 100% on-site role in Johns Creek, GA. Remote or hybrid candidates will not be considered.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Azure certifications (AZ-104, AZ-305, AZ-400 or equivalent).
  • Helm and GitOps / Argo CD experience.
  • CI/CD pipeline design and administration.
  • Docker and container runtime expertise.
  • Hybrid-cloud connectivity and enterprise-scale Azure Landing Zone experience.
