POSITION SUMMARY
The Logistics Analyst is an onsite role responsible for supporting customer container movement and end-to-end delivery operations. This position monitors supply chain milestones, engages directly with drayage providers and ocean carriers, and oversees delivery coordination from origin ports through to final destination. Ideal candidates will have exposure to port operations, drayage, container tracking, and transportation logistics.
We're looking for individuals who thrive in fast-paced, high-growth environments. This role blends operational execution, account support, and data analysis to ensure timely delivery and customer satisfaction.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
  • Collects, interprets, and analyzes logistics data relating to availability of containers, port operations, dray carrier performance, delivery milestones, and overall containerized freight movement.
  • Maintains database for tracking container flow, drayage scheduling, and delivery event milestones across multiple customer accounts.
  • Tracks container movement from origin port through drayage pickup to final delivery using web based logistics systems and customer tracking platforms.
  • Reviews container and drayage workflows; identifies, recommends, and implements improvements to maximize delivery efficiency, port turnaround times, and carrier performance while minimizing costs.
  • Uses analytic methods to monitor container flow trends, predict shipment delays, and recommend corrective actions to improve logistics operations.
  • Monitors container yards, ports, and DC inventories to capture key events such as vessel arrival, drayage dispatch, container offloading, and pickup/delivery milestones.
  • Performs other related duties, as assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES)
  • Highschool diploma or equivalent.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, Power Point, Outlook)
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Able to work independently and in a team environment.
