Job description

With over 20 years of experience and dedicated warehousing facilities, ADLI specializes in freight management, Canadian distribution and logistics support.ย  This posting is for an existing vacancy. Salary range:ย  $55,000-$75,000 Hours:ย  Monday - Friday 8:30AM - 5:00PMย  Primary Activities and Tasks: * Sourcing and negotiating with a variety of carriers to secure competitive rates, capacity, and transit times * Arranging pick/up delivery of customer orders for both Domestic and Transborder shipments * Communicating specific freight requirements and procedures to drivers and carrier's dispatch * Communicating with Customer Service Representative and warehouse operations for order completion * Updating TMS with accessorial charges and ensuring the load is complete and accurate for billing * Scheduling appointments for inbounds and outbounds * Coordinating container and airport deliveries to warehouse * Assisting customers and other third parties with inquiries and problem resolution, escalate when required * Obtaining carrier packages and insurance/WSIB/etc. * Providing carrier rates to the Rating department for quoting and prospecting purposesย  * Other duties and projects as assigned ย  Academic & Professional Training: ย  * Secondary School Diploma or equivalency certificate ย  ย  ย  Experience: * 3+ years of 3PL brokerage transportation experience ย  ย  ย Skills/Competencies: * Strong written and verbal communication skills * Strong organizational, multitasking and problem-solving skills * Capable of communicating effectively in a concise, professional manner * Attention to detail and accuracy * Proficient working with MS Office including Outlook, Word and Excel * Proficient working knowledge in ERP/TMS software ย  ADLI Logistics is an equal opportunity employer.
