Job description

Overview

The primary function of an Expert Installer is to accurately and efficiently organize and conduct the on-site installation of C Studio systems and equipment. The installer provides a professional representation of the company and its standards.

This role is based at C Studios, recently acquired by The Container Store. C Studio is a home storage solutions and closet organization manufacturer in the U.S. C Studio has been crafting sanctuaries and creating a sense of order for over 34+ years. We are currently seeking excellent candidates to join our team!

Responsibilities

  • Conducts the on-site installation of C Studio systems and equipment
  • Before loading the day’s installation materials, reviews the drawings, cut lists, and pick tickets to ensure that all necessary materials are present
  • Loads materials into cargo vans according to the established C Studio procedures
  • Ensures that each assigned installation and service call is completed on schedule
  • Notifies the Installation Manager of the progress of assigned jobs and makes the manager aware of issues that occur that impair the ability to complete any job as designed and scheduled
  • Ensures that all works sites are treated with care during installation
  • Upon completing an installation or service call, inspects work sites and installed units to be neat and thoroughly clean
  • Responsible to have tools necessary to accomplish assigned installations (in accordance with established Installer Tool List)

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of twelve months of experience or training in same or related field; or equivalent combination of training and experience.
  • Must have a valid drivers license at all times as a requirement of employment.
  • Must be able to clearly communicate in professional manner, both verbally and in writing
  • Strong mathematical skills including, using a tape measure and understand fractions, decimal and metric systems
  • Must be comfortable with interacting with customers in a professional manner
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Experience in working under tight time pressures
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
