We are currently seeking a dependable and safety-focused Warehouseman / Forklift Operator to join our warehouse operations team.

This position plays a critical role in the safe handling, movement, and organization of freight within our warehouse facilities.

Position Overview

The Warehouseman / Forklift Operator is responsible for loading, unloading, receiving, storing, and handling cargo within the warehouse environment. This role requires prior forklift operating experience, strong attention to safety procedures, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced logistics environment.

The ideal candidate is reliable, detail-oriented, safety conscious, and capable of handling freight carefully and efficiently.

*CURRENT FORKLIFT CERTIFICATION REQUIRED* Responsibilities
  • Safely operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment

  • Load and unload trucks, containers, and freight shipments

  • Receive and inspect inbound cargo for damage or discrepancies

  • Organize and stage freight within warehouse locations

  • Assist with palletizing, labeling, wrapping, and cargo preparation

  • Verify freight counts, markings, and shipment information

  • Maintain warehouse cleanliness and organization

  • Follow all company safety procedures and warehouse protocols

  • Assist warehouse office staff with cargo identification and handling as needed

  • Report damaged freight, shortages, or operational issues promptly

Qualifications
  • Prior warehouse experience required

  • Forklift operating experience required

  • Current forklift certification required

  • Ability to safely lift and move freight
