Container Delivery Drivers operate flatbed trucks and are responsible for delivering, removing containers to and from commercial and residential sites. Drivers must have the ability to work overtime.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Valid Class A or B CDL driver's license
  • At least 21 years of age
  • Must be able to successfully pass pre-employment drug screen, background, and motor vehicle records check
  • Ability to perform physical requirements of the position with or without reasonable accommodation

Knowledge and Skills:
  • Customer service oriented with the desire to meet or exceed expectations.
  • Professional, courteous, and trustworthy
  • Ability to work in all weather conditions and perform physical requirements including repetitive lifting, pushing, and climbing.

Responsibilities and Duties:
  • Follows route assignments as directed using an on-board computer system Routeware or a
  • paper route sheet.
  • Drivers provide containers to the customer's site and haul away. The driver is expected to
  • replace containers neatly at the designated area. When replacing the container or taking it
  • away the driver is required to leave the customer's location clean and free of debris.
  • Positions and/or returns container on the customer's property in a manner that ensures lids
  • and/or doors are properly replaced and does not block driveway entrances or traffic.
  • Drivers will transport containers to and from the container yards. Driver safely maneuvers
  • vehicle in residential and commercial environments and navigates high traffic and congested
  • roadways, driveways, alleyways, and lots safely.
  • Follows route assignments as directed and completed end of day required documentation and
  • the checkout process with the Supervisor.
  • Clean garbage from inside of truck cab daily.
  • Maintain and update DAILY driver logs as required.
