Product Designer - Consumer Products & Giftware Harry & David / DesignPac Wholesale is seeking a creative and detail-oriented Product Designer to support the development of physical consumer products across our gift, home décor, seasonal, gourmet, and floral categories. This is a hands-on product development role focused on bringing tangible products from concept through production. The ideal candidate has experience designing consumer products, packaging, giftware, home décor, seasonal merchandise, or related retail product categories. Please Note: This is not a UX/UI, web, software, or digital product design position.

What You\'ll Do

Support the design and development of physical consumer products from concept to launch Create product specifications, line sheets, and presentation materials Develop sketches, renderings, and visual concepts Partner with Merchandising, Sourcing, Packaging, and Graphics teams throughout the development process Research market trends, competitors, and emerging product opportunities Assist with retail assortment development Prepare products for presentations, photography, trade shows, and product reviews Ensure projects remain on schedule and meet production deadlines What We\'re Looking For At least 5 years of experience in product design, product development, or a related creative field Degree in Design, Art, Fashion, or related field is a plus Foundational understanding of design principles, color theory, and Adobe Creative Suite, Basic understanding of product or technical design Strong sketching and visual communication skills Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite, including Illustrator and Photoshop Understanding of color, materials, trends, and product aesthetics Ability to manage multiple projects and timelines Strong organization and attention to detail Excellent collaboration and communication skills Preferred Qualifications Degree in Product Design, Industrial Design, Fashion Design, Art, Merchandise Design, or a related field Experience working with overseas sourcing or manufacturing partners We are particularly interested in candidates with experience in: Giftware Seasonal products Floral products Consumer packaged goods Housewares Tabletop products Not the Right Fit If Your Background Is Primarily In UX Design UI Design Software Product Design Web Design SaaS Products Digital Product Management Join a collaborative team where you\'ll help create innovative physical products that delight customers and bring memorable gifting experiences to life.

The expected salary range for this position is $70,000 to $75,000 annually . Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, skills, internal equity, and other factors permitted by law.
