What is consumer goods product engineering?

Consumer goods product engineering is the process of designing, developing, and improving products that are manufactured for everyday use by consumers, such as electronics, appliances, and packaged goods. This role involves working on the functionality, safety, cost-effectiveness, and manufacturability of products to meet market demands and consumer expectations.
