Job description

LAUNCH IAB to seeking a MRO Account Coordinator for a position at our facility in Wichita, KS.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Coordinate the end-to-end flow of aircraft materials, tooling, consumables, and rotable assets to support scheduled maintenance events,
aircraft inductions, and customer-specific work scopes (including BMX entries).
• Review material requirements, validate part requests, and confirm availability through internal stock, customer-provided inventory, repair
orders, transfers, or approved alternative sourcing with strict adherence to required timelines.
• Create, monitor, and reconcile purchase orders, drop-ship transactions, and shipment activity; resolve discrepancies with suppliers,
carriers, and internal/external stakeholders; and provide required documentation to close POs in a timely manner.
• Maintain accurate inventory records, including receiving, identification, storage, issuance, returns, cycle counts, and transaction updates in
applicable ERP and maintenance systems.
• Track shortages, backorders, repair status, and delivery commitments; communicate risk, status, and recovery plans to production,
procurement, program leadership, and customer representatives; provide daily reports; and proactively communicate part status for daily
meetings and DSRs.
• Support kitting, staging, tooling distribution, and point-of-use material readiness to help ensure production teams have the required items
to execute work as scheduled.
• Prepare and retain complete, accurate, and audit-ready documentation for material transactions, customer inventory, shipping activity,
and billing support; ensure all parts are listed on the BOM for each work order to maintain traceability and accurate billing and assist the
Project Accountant with invoice reconciliation.
• Assist in maintaining compliance with applicable FAA repair station procedures, company policies, quality requirements, and customer
specifications related to material control and traceability.
• Participate in internal audits, customer audits, inventory reviews, and operational meetings; provide requested records, status updates,
and corrective follow-through as assigned.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned, consistent with business needs and the employee's qualifications.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
• Working knowledge of materials coordination, inventory control, purchasing support, shipping/receiving, and logistics practices in an aviation
maintenance or regulated operations environment.
• Strong organizational, prioritization, and follow-through skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and shifting priorities in a deadline driven
environment.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with production, procurement, quality, program teams,
suppliers, and customer representatives.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and the ability to learn and use ERP, inventory, and maintenance tracking systems; experience with EmpowerMx,
BMX, Sceptre, ClickUp, or Business Central is preferred.
• Ability to maintain regular attendance, work required schedules, and support occasional overtime, weekends, or holidays as
business needs require.
• Ability to accurately read and interpret technical documents, including engineering drawings, approved maintenance data, work instructions,
customer requirements, shipping documents, and system records.
• Experience with shipping IATA Dangerous Goods and DOT/HAZMAT certification, or willingness to obtain required certification.
MINIMUM EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE / QUALIFICATIONS
1. High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or post-secondary coursework in supply chain, logistics, aviation
maintenance, or a related field is preferred.
2. Two (2) or more years of experience in materials coordination, inventory control, logistics, procurement support, or a related function;
aviation, aerospace, or MRO experience preferred.
3. Valid driver's license required based on job duties and site operational needs.
4. Ability to safely lift, carry, push, or pull materials up to 35 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation.
5. Must be eligible to work in the United States and able to satisfy any lawful site access, background screening, training, or compliance
requirements applicable to the position.
