As a consulting utility forester, your responsibilities may involve patrolling an area or performing surveys to find potential hazards such as trees or brush in contact with power or gas lines. You also notify the electric company, landowner, or other parties when they need to prune or remove vegetarian for safety reasons. You may evaluate and audit current removal and pruning plans, as well as work in the field overseeing trimming and removal operations. You may also collect data while in the field.
