Job Summary: As a Senior Consultant, Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing technology projects from inception to completion. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, engineers, and business stakeholders, to ensure that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of technology, excellent leadership skills, and a proven track record of managing complex projects.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Project Planning and Management:
    • Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
    • Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, resources, and budgets.
    • Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
    • Ensure that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
  • Team Collaboration:
    • Lead cross-functional project teams, including developers, engineers, QA, and business analysts.
    • Foster a collaborative and productive team environment.
    • Communicate project expectations, progress, and changes to stakeholders.
  • Stakeholder Communication:
    • Serve as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders.
    • Provide regular updates on project status, risks, and issues.
    • Manage stakeholder expectations and ensure alignment with project goals.
  • Technology Integration:
    • Collaborate with technical teams to ensure that technology solutions align with business objectives.
    • Understand and communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
    • Oversee the integration of new technologies into existing systems.
  • Risk Management:
    • Identify potential project risks and develop contingency plans.
    • Proactively address issues and obstacles that may impact project success.
    • Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Quality Assurance:
    • Ensure that all deliverables meet quality standards and stakeholder expectations.
    • Implement best practices for project management and technology integration.
    • Conduct post-project evaluations to identify areas for improvement.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Project Management, or a related field.
  • PMP or similar project management certification is preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in project management, with a focus on technology projects.
  • Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.
  • Experience with project management tools (e.g., Jira, Trello, MS Project).
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure) is a plus.

Infinitive is required by law in some jurisdictions to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $90,000.00 - $139,000.00.
