Job description

Position Title: Project Director
Location: Remote with 10% travel to clients HQ in DC

This position is contingent upon contract award.
Overview:
The Project Director is responsible for the full management of the contract, including planning, daily operations oversight, and supervision of Sub-Contractors and consultants. This individual serves as the primary point of contact for contract-related matters and regularly scheduled project management discussions with the client.
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead development of effective project plans and oversee daily contract operations
  • Manage and oversee performance of Sub-Contractors and consultants
  • Coordinate and assist in preparation of national and topical training sessions and forums for T&TA activities
  • Serve as primary contact for contract inquiries and regularly scheduledย project management discussions
  • Review and revise the project work plan
  • Develop and present innovative ideas to expand the capacity of sexual risk avoidance grant recipients
  • Support knowledge-sharing in the field of risk avoidance education
  • Track multiple concurrent tasks performed under the contract

Minimum Qualifications
  • Minimum 10 years of experience managing and directing federal contracts
  • Significant experience managing adolescent programs
  • Specialized knowledge and experience in abstinence and sexual risk avoidance education
  • Demonstrated skills in negotiation, customer service, and project management
  • Proven ability to select and manage Sub-Contractors and consultants
  • Experience tracking multiple tasks under federal government contracts
