Facility:
This is a Level 1 Trauma Center that is part of a well-established regional healthcare network serving the greater Scottsdale and Phoenix metropolitan area. The facility provides a full spectrum of interventional radiology services with a robust support team, including PA coverage for select procedures, and utilizes advanced technology including RPCE Tech Stack and PowerScribe 4.0.

Board Certified - Interventional Radiologist - Radiology
Job Details:
  • 100% onsite Interventional Radiology position covering 7 days, 8am-5pm MST (9-hour workday)
  • Holidays covered as agreed upon
  • Level 1 Trauma Center coverage required
  • Must be Board Certified Radiologist with IR Fellowship training
  • IR call availability required - seeking providers for 1-2 nights per week or weekend call (Friday PM to Monday AM)
  • Productivity expectation of 53 RVUs per shift
  • Weekday procedures include biopsies/drainages (7-9 per day), GI/GU procedures (2-3 per day), IVC filter placement/removal (2-3 per week), PE/DVT thrombectomy (1-2 per week), GI bleed/trauma embolization (1-2 per week), and dialysis intervention (1 per week)
  • Weeknight call procedures include emergent GI bleed/trauma embolization (1-2 per week), emergent PE thrombectomy (1 per week), and emergent GU/gallbladder drainage (1 per week)
  • Weekend call procedures include urgent drainages (3-4 per weekend), urgent GI/GU procedures (1-2 per weekend), and other procedures such as IVC filter placement and embolization (1-2 per weekend)
  • PA support provided for paras, thoras, LPs, and venous access procedures
  • Utilizes RPCE Tech Stack and PowerScribe 4.0

Compensation:
Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
