Job description

SearchPlus HR is currently seeking a highly qualified Consultant Psychiatrist with an American Board Certification, UK CCT, or another recognized Western qualification on behalf of a leading healthcare provider in the United Arab Emirates. The successful candidate will provide expert psychiatric care, assess and manage patients with a wide range of mental health conditions, develop individualized treatment plans, and deliver evidence-based psychiatric services while maintaining the highest standards of patient care.
Key Responsibilities
  • Assess, diagnose, and treat patients with various psychiatric conditions, including mood disorders, anxiety disorders, psychotic disorders, and other mental health concerns.
  • Develop personalized treatment plans, including medication management and therapeutic interventions where appropriate.
  • Provide comprehensive psychiatric consultations and collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation and ensure compliance with UAE healthcare regulations and international standards.
  • Participate in clinical improvement programs, medical education, and contribute to enhancing mental healthcare services.
Requirements
  • American Board Certification, UK CCT, or another recognized Western qualification in Psychiatry.
  • Eligibility for or active DHA, DOH, or MOH Consultant License.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of post-board/CCT experience as a Consultant Psychiatrist.
  • Strong clinical expertise in diagnosing and managing a wide range of psychiatric conditions.
