Senior Medical Expert | Healthcare Communications Fixed-Term Contract (Maternity Cover)

Your Responsibilities
  • Analysis and strategic processing of complex medical and scientific content and data
  • Assisting in the development of medical and scientific concepts and advising on medical content strategies in national and international contexts
  • Creating factually sound medical content in German and English for various target audiences (HCPs, patients, the general public), ranging from media relations (specialist and general public PR) and continuing education programs to HCP marketing
  • Strong expertise in commercial copywriting for HCP sell-in and sell-out materials (branding, claim development, corporate wording, campaign development) is desirable
  • Creation of content for social media and communities (professionals/laypeople)
  • Collaboration with consultants, creative professionals, and digital experts as part of an international team
Your Profile
  • Master’s degree in a science or medical field; a Ph.D. in this area is preferred
  • Extensive experience in (scientific) communications at an agency and/or in the pharmaceutical industry
  • Proven experience in medical writing and medical education—experience in medical consulting is a plus
  • Experience working with clients and scientific thought leaders is a plus
  • Independent and results-oriented work style
  • Excellent writing style and communication skills; journalistic experience is a plus
  • Excellent written and spoken German, as well as business-level English
  • Passion for medical topics and the healthcare industry
  • Curiosity and a passion for communication
