A Consultant CDFI is a professional who works with Community Development Financial Institutions (CDFIs) to provide expertise and guidance on financial services, organizational strategy, compliance, and community development projects. Their role often includes helping CDFIs expand access to affordable credit, develop new programs, secure funding, and ensure regulatory compliance. Consultants may work on short-term projects or provide ongoing support, drawing on their specialized knowledge of community finance and economic development. Ultimately, they help CDFIs better serve low-income communities and promote economic inclusion.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a Consultant CDFI, and why are they important?
