Overview 
Clifftop Law PLLC is a team-oriented and fast-paced General law practice seeking a dedicated and skilled Associate Attorney to join our dynamic legal team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in various areas of law, primarily focusing on Immigration Law.
Job Details:
  • Compensation: Salary range $100,000- $130,000 depending on experience.
  • Employment Type: Full-Time.
  • We are looking for a self-starter who has a passion for helping families through the toughest times of their lives.

Position Overview:
  • This position requires a law degree (J.D.) OR a Foreign law degree + LLM, must be licensed to practice law in Washington State.
  • You will actively handle all aspects of a client’s case, including communicating with parties, drafting legal documents such as briefs and motions, and preparing for and attending hearings.
  • Represent clients before EOIR, USCIS, BIA, and CBP.
  • You are able to handle a high volume of all types of Immigration cases, focusing primarily on removal defense, family petitions, consular processing, waivers, Special Immigrant Juvenile Status, VAWA, U and T visas, and Employment/Business Visas.
  • Collaborate with a skilled team of legal assistants and support staff.
  • Familiarity with Immigration Law is highly desirable.
  • Overall, this position is intended to be a challenging experience for someone looking to be a highly effective attorney.

Daily work expectations include:
  • Establishing positive and collaborative working relationships with clients, colleagues, and the courts.
  • Effectively applying legal solutions to clients’ issues.
  • Clearly and empathetically communicating legal options to clients.
  • Effectively representing clients at hearings, depositions, and trials.
  • Consulting with and retaining new clients.
  • Working with staff to accurately calendar all hearings, filing deadlines, and other key dates.
  • Timely communicating with the Managing Attorney and team members to continue developing skill set and taking on more challenging legal issues.
  • Ability to multitask on a variety of projects.
  • Ability to work both independently & within a team environment.
  • Take ownership of assignments and execute them timely.
