A respected law firm with an Atlanta office is seeking a Business Immigration Specialist to support its growing employment-based immigration practice. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with experience handling a variety of business immigration matters and managing cases from initiation through filing and approval.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and file employment-based non-immigrant and immigrant visa petitions
- Assist attorneys with PERM labor certifications, adjustment of status applications, and U.S. citizenship matters
- Coordinate and oversee PERM recruitment processes and related documentation
- Draft support letters, forms, and immigration filings for attorney review
- Gather, organize, and review supporting documentation from clients and beneficiaries
- Communicate regularly with corporate clients, foreign nationals, and government agencies regarding case status and requirements
- Conduct case audits and maintain accurate case records and immigration databases
- Track filing deadlines, approval notices, expiration dates, and other critical immigration milestones
- Research immigration procedures, regulations, and filing requirements as needed
- Support attorneys in evaluating immigration options and strategies for corporate clients
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Minimum of 2 years of employment-based business immigration experience
- Experience with a broad range of immigration matters, including:
- H-1B, L-1A, L-1B, E-1, E-2, O-1, and other nonimmigrant visa categories
- PERM labor certifications
- Employment-based immigrant visa petitions
- Adjustment of Status applications
- Consular processing
- Naturalization and citizenship applications
- Strong written, verbal, and organizational skills
- Exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
