Job description

Superior Skilled Trades (SST) is seeking an enthusiastic Skilled Trades/Construction Recruiter to join our team! You will be responsible for sourcing, interviewing, and identifying skilled trades talent for multiple accounts. Apply today if you are:

Location: Austin, TX

Salary Range: $50,000-65,000/yr DOE

Incentive: $2,500-$3,500 in monthly incentives/bonus

Hours: 40+ hours per week (occasional evenings/weekends as needed)

Benefits: Full benefits package including health, dental, vision, 401k with employer match, and paid time off


Qualifications

  • Must have 2+ years recruiting skilled trades / construction roles
  • Heavy sourcing skills; strong hunter-mentality
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to stay on top of important details
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience working program/MSP accounts through VMS platforms a plus
  • Experience using Aviante and/or Fieldglass a plus
  • Proven ability to work well under pressure, addressing regular high-demand requests and needs quickly
  • Flexibility to occasionally work evenings or weekends to meet urgent staffing deadlines


Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the recruitment process for skilled trades roles: sourcing, screening, and interviewing
  • Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates through job boards, referrals, social media, and networking
  • Partner with account managers and leadership to understand client staffing needs and provide tailored recruitment solutions
  • Communicate regularly with candidates to ensure a positive hiring experience
  • Accurately maintain candidate data, employee files, and compliance requirements
