If you are an EXPERIENCED UNION CONSTRUCTION SUPERINTENDENT or FOREMAN seeking IMMEDIATE EMPLOYMENT, please submit your application (and resume if available). Successful UNION CONSTRUCTION SUPERINTENDENT / FOREMAN Candidate will:
  • Perform work on the Quad Cities Water and Waste Water Treatment Plant jobs and/or Transportation jobs
  • Direct all field personnel to achieve completion of the project on schedule, within budget, with quality workmanship that conforms to original plans and specifications
  • Overall management of daily operation of the projects
  • Ensure safety, compliance and quality regulations are followed
  • Create and manage project schedule
  • Monitor budgets and controlling cost
  • Communicate project progress with clients and project managers
  • Coordinate subcontractors and construction site organization qualifications
  • Order material and schedule inspections as necessary throughout the process
  • Effectively recruit and train new employees
  • Prepare daily reports and timecards
Skills/Qualifications:
  • prior experience as a Superintendent or Foreman (5 years preferred)
  • wastewater treatment plant and transportation experience a plus
  • good communication, organizational and leadership skills
  • excellent knowledge of project drawings and specifications
  • familiarity with regulatory construction standards
  • the ability to lead craft labor and subcontractors to effectively complete projects on time and within budget
