Job description

We are seeking a Security Project Manager - Federal Sector to support construction security operations on high-profile federal facilities projects. This role focuses on managing Construction Security Plans (CSPs), ensuring security compliance throughout the project lifecycle, coordinating with project stakeholders, and supporting secure project execution. The ideal candidate has experience in federal construction security, strong project management skills, and an active TS/SCI with CI Polygraph.

Requirements

Qualifications and Skills
  • Active TS/SCI security clearance with CI Polygraph.
  • Associate's degree and 7+ years of experience managing complex construction, facilities, or infrastructure projects.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and Microsoft Project.
  • Experience developing project management plans, coordinating multidisciplinary project teams, and monitoring project performance.
  • Strong customer service, communication, and stakeholder management skills with the ability to work effectively across multiple organizations.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and contract documents.
  • Working knowledge of construction industry practices, project delivery, and security requirements within construction environments.
Responsibilities and Duties
  • Support the management and oversight of construction security operations across multiple federal construction projects.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain Construction Security Plans (CSPs) throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Review construction drawings, RFIs, submittals, and contract modifications, providing security guidance and recommendations.
  • Serve as the Site Security Manager (SSM), identifying, documenting, and reporting security risks, violations, and deviations from approved security plans.
  • Coordinate contractor site access, security requirements, and the approval of Personal Electronic Devices (PEDs) in accordance with federal security protocols.
  • Participate in project meetings and brief leadership on security-related updates, risks, and recommendations.
