Job Title: Job-site Superintendent
Job Responsibilities:
Solid background in building/civil construction science, business, and management, as well as related work experience within the construction industry. Ability to understand contracts, plans, and specifications. Knowledgeable about construction methods, materials, and regulations. Familiarity with computers and software programs for job costing, scheduling, and estimating is increasingly important. Supervision of on-site personnel and sub-contractors. Experience as a construction craft worker.
Job Qualifications:
Degree in Construction Science Management or similar discipline, or substantial related work experience in commercial building or civil construction. Relevant and proven work related experience related to the craft. Demonstrated ability to lead personnel and sub-contractors to successful and profitable completion of the project. Knowledgeable in construction methods, materials, and regulations. Familiar with computers and software related to the industry. Adaptable and able to work effectively in a fast-paced work environment. Strong multi-tasking skills. Able to communicate in an effective manner in an oral or written manner.
