Job description

We are looking for a driven Outside Sales Associate to expand our presence in Colorado by building strong connections across the commercial and multifamily construction market. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys developing new business, meeting with clients in the field, and identifying projects where our services can deliver measurable value. You will work closely with internal teams to move opportunities forward while maintaining a consistent, detail-focused presence within the local construction community.
Responsibilities:
• Build and strengthen partnerships with general contractors, developers, and other key contacts in the construction industry.
• Identify and pursue new commercial and multifamily project opportunities through outreach, market research, and relationship development.
• Arrange and conduct in-person meetings with prospective clients to understand project needs and present service capabilities.
• Serve as a visible company representative at industry gatherings, networking functions, and active job sites.
• Communicate the advantages of the company’s electrical construction services and tailor conversations to client goals.
• Coordinate with estimating and operations personnel to support a seamless handoff from initial lead to proposal development.
• Track lead activity, follow up consistently, and maintain a strong pipeline of prospective business.
• Monitor local construction activity and market developments to uncover upcoming opportunities and inform sales efforts.• At least 1 year of experience in business development, construction sales, commercial sales, or a related client-facing role.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to establish lasting client relationships.
• Confidence in cold outreach and face-to-face meetings with potential clients and partners.
• Highly self-motivated with solid organization, prioritization, and time management abilities.
• Detail-oriented presentation and a reliable, dependable approach in client and industry settings.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for local travel.
• Familiarity with the commercial construction industry is preferred.
• Experience related to benefits administration, benefits coordination, COBRA administration, leave of absence, or compensation and benefits is a plus.
