Job description

Construction Quality Manager – DC Project

Location: Atlanta, Georgia

A leading international engineering and construction contractor is looking for an experienced Construction Quality Manager to support the delivery of large-scale, mission-critical projects.

The successful candidate will lead project quality activities, ensuring that construction work, materials, documentation and processes comply with approved designs, client requirements and applicable industry standards.

Key responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain the Project Quality Plan.
  • Conduct site inspections, quality audits and compliance reviews.
  • Review drawings, specifications, submittals and inspection records.
  • Manage non-conformances, root-cause investigations and corrective actions.
  • Oversee Inspection and Test Plans, material verification and quality documentation.
  • Work closely with project teams, subcontractors, consultants and third-party inspectors.
  • Support pre-installation meetings and communicate quality requirements to all trades.
  • Prepare quality reports, performance metrics and project documentation.
  • Deliver quality training to site and project personnel.
  • Promote continuous improvement and accountability across the project.

Requirements:

  • 5–7 years of construction quality management experience.
  • Previous experience on data centre, mission-critical, industrial, infrastructure or major commercial projects.
  • Strong MEP construction and inspection knowledge.
  • Experience creating Project Quality Plans and conducting audits.
  • Knowledge of ISO 9001 or equivalent quality management systems.
  • Familiarity with standards such as ASTM, ASME, ACI and AWS.
  • Strong leadership, communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience using Microsoft Office and platforms such as Procore, CMiC or BIM 360.
  • A degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering or a related subject is preferred.
  • ASQ CQE/CQA, CQM-C or a similar quality certification would be advantageous.
