Summary

Join one of New Mexico's leading commercial general contractors and help build better projects before problems begin. As our Construction Quality & Efficiency Manager, you'll work across preconstruction, estimating, project management, field operations, and safety to identify risk, improve execution, strengthen quality, and drive continuous improvement. This is a high-impact role for an experienced construction professional who enjoys solving problems, improving processes, and helping teams deliver exceptional results.

Key Performance Indicators:
  • Risk & Quality โ€“ Identify risks early, strengthen quality processes, reduce rework, and prevent issues before they impact projects.
  • Project Efficiency โ€“ Improve planning, scheduling, productivity, resource utilization, and overall project execution.
  • Continuous Improvement โ€“ Turn project lessons learned into practical processes, standards, and best practices that improve future performance.
  • Collaboration & Accountability โ€“ Connect project teams, field leadership, subcontractors, and departments to solve problems, drive accountability, and deliver results.
Fundamental Job Requirements:
  • 10+ years of commercial construction experience with strong knowledge of construction means, methods, sequencing, and the complete project lifecycle.
  • Proven ability to identify problems, assess risk, and implement practical solutions that improve project outcomes.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to collaborate across estimating, operations, project management, field leadership, safety, subcontractors, and clients.
  • Experience with quality management, project reviews, inspections, corrective actions, and continuous improvement.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Proficiency with construction/project management software and Microsoft Office.
  • Willingness to travel within the metropolitan area and surrounding regions; valid driver's license, insurance, and reliable transportation required.
