Job description

The Construction Project Manager oversees medium to large-scale construction projects, ensuring that all aspects from planning to execution meet company standards and client expectations. This role involves managing project budgets, scheduling, resources, and teams, while maintaining clear communication with stakeholders and senior management. Occasional travel between sites is required to supervise progress and address on-site issues effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Plan project timelines and allocate resources efficiently using Microsoft Project
  • Manage budgets to ensure financial targets are met
  • Negotiate contracts with vendors and subcontractors
  • Identify and mitigate project risks
  • Lead and coordinate project teams for optimal performance
  • Ensure quality control throughout all phases of the project
  • Schedule and monitor project milestones and deadlines
  • Communicate progress and challenges effectively with stakeholders and senior management
  • Supervise site activities to maintain safety and compliance
  • Travel occasionally to various project sites as needed

Preferred Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in construction project management
  • Strong skills in project management, budgeting, and contract negotiation
  • Expertise in risk assessment and construction scheduling
  • Proven leadership and team management abilities
