Job Summary
We are seeking a Swimming Pool Construction Field Technician to join our team. In this role, you will support worksite operations through manual labor tasks. This may include operating power tools, excavation, heavy lifting, outdoor activities, job site organization, and other necessary tasks. The ideal candidate is a hard worker with the ability to meet the physical demands of outdoor construction.
 
Responsibilities
We are looking for skilled, reliable laborers with a strong work ethic who are eager to learn the unique construction process for building swimming pools.
 
  • Assist with site layout, measurement, excavation, plumbing, backfilling, forming, steel tying, concrete placement, rigging, and installation
  • Use construction and maintenance tools and equipment to complete daily tasks
  • Transport materials and equipment from one location to another
  • Safely operate a variety of tools, including pressure washers, jackhammers, drills, saws, grinders, and various hand tools
  • Construct, transfer, and tear down temporary structures such as scaffolding
  • Other manual labor tasks as required by the foreman or supervisor
  • Follow all safety regulations
  • Maintain a clean work environment by picking up trash, excess building materials, or other potentially hazardous products

 Qualifications
 
  • Recent experience in swimming pool construction, plumbing, electrical, masonry and other related outdoor construction
  • Complete prescreen and assessment questions to be considered for employment
  • Additional certifications or apprenticeship experience is preferred but not necessary
  • Ability to meet the physical demands of the job, including lifting heavy objects, digging, and standing for long periods
  • Knowledge of power tools and industrial machinery is preferred
  • Prompt and punctual attendance to the shop is required
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills
  • Must have a valid driver’s license in good standing with no serious traffic violations
  • Ability to adhere to all safety rules and regulations
