Job description

Position Summary:
Landmark Builders is seeking a full-time, experienced Superintendent in Myrtle Beach, SC.
Key Responsibilities:
Field Operations & Supervision
  • Lead field teams on assigned construction projects, providing direct supervision and guidance to subcontractors and Landmark personnel.
  • Create and implement project execution plans for complex projects, adjusting as necessary to address changing needs and requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with project plans, project specifications, and Landmark QA/QC program.
  • Generate, maintain, and execute detailed look-ahead schedules, scheduling all subcontractors, suppliers, testing, and inspections as necessary to meet required milestones.

Safety & Quality
  • Lead project safety culture and confirm adherence to Landmark Safety Program.
  • Lead weekly onsite progress meetings with subcontractors and participate in regular Owner-Architect-Contractor meetings.

Communication & Coordination
  • Maintain open lines of communication with General Superintendent, Project Manager, field staff, owners, architects, subcontractors, and the entire team, keeping all parties informed of project issues and changes.

Qualifications:
Experience & Technical Knowledge
  • 5+ years of experience preferred as a commercial construction Superintendent.
  • Proven experience delivering high-end residential/commercial interior finishes across large projects.
  • Safety focus and expertise; 30-hour OSHA certification preferred.

Leadership & Interpersonal Skills
  • Proven leadership ability with an efficient personnel management approach.
  • Detail-oriented management style with strong attention to quality and compliance.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • High ethical standards, honesty, and integrity in all professional conduct.
