Job Description

David Weekley Homes is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Summer 2027 Construction Management Intern to join our Indianapolis team. This hands-on internship offers the opportunity to learn from experienced homebuilding professionals, gain exposure to residential construction and discover what it takes to deliver an exceptional homebuying experience.

What You'll Experience:

  • Gain firsthand exposure to the entire homebuilding process, from pre-contract activities through construction, closing and post-closing service
  • Learn the day-to-day responsibilities of a Builder, including scheduling, quality assurance, safety, cost management and material control
  • See the David Weekley Way in action and understand the standards that guide how we build homes and serve our Customers
  • Participate in the warranty process, including reviewing service requests and helping address Customer questions and concerns
  • Develop an understanding of how exceptional Customer Service contributes to homeowner satisfaction and overall business success
Qualifications
  • Must be currently enrolled in a full-time college program with an interest in pursuing residential construction and/or real estate
  • Able to work up to 40 hours per week
  • Must have housing available in the Indianapolis area for the duration of the internship
