Construction Leadership Recruiter

Enterprise Leadership Recruiting | Mission-Critical Growth

Ace Electric is a 50-year electrical contractor delivering complex mission-critical data center, industrial, and commercial projects across the Southeast and Midwest.

We are established. Financially strong. Operationally disciplined. We are also one of the fastest-growing electrical contractors in the United States. Our continued expansion requires serious leadership capacity. We are building bench strength intentionally and aggressively.

We are seeking an experienced Construction Leadership Recruiter to lead enterprise-level leadership hiring across the organization. This role is strictly focused on leadership and office recruiting.

The Role

Over the next 12 months, this position and team members will deliver approximately 60 leadership hires across:

  • Division and operational leadership roles (VPs, Operation Managers)
  • Project Managers, Project Engineers
  • Estimators, BIM andPreconstruction Professionals
  • Quality and Safety Professionals
  • Office Support Roles

This role reports to the Talent Acquisition Manager and provides direct hiring pipeline updates to the TA Manager and the HR Director (Executive Leadership). This is a high-performance role in a high-growth environment. Leadership hiring is not a one-time surge. Our growth is sustained and long-term.

What Success Looks Like

  • Measurable reduction in time-to-fill
  • Improved quality-of-hire, measured by retention beyond two years
  • Strong leadership bench strength in Ohio, Atlanta, Tennessee, North Carolina, Savannah, Macon, Valdosta and surrounding markets
  • Meeting clearly defined recruiting KPIs that drive accountability
  • Consistent, disciplined communication with hiring managers

Performance must be measurable. Metrics matter. Systems matter. Follow-through matters.

Who Thrives Here

We are looking for a competitive, disciplined individual who enjoys seeing tangible results.

You:

  • Drive outcomes with urgency but with structure
  • Push respectfully when hiring managers are overloaded
  • Insert yourself into operations to understand roles, not just job descriptions
  • Track performance and hold yourself accountable to numbers
  • Remain calm and balanced in a fast-paced, innovative build-the-plane-while-flying-it environment
  • Value culture and understand that not every talented candidate is the right fit

At Ace Electric, culture is intentional. We protect it carefully. We hire leaders who are serious about people, collaboration, and performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as team lead, coordinating recruitment efforts for the leadership recruiting team
  • Lead full-cycle executive recruiting for mission-critical, industrial, and commercial leadership roles
  • Proactively source and engage passive candidates
  • Build competitor market maps and long-term talent pipelines
  • Present vetted candidates directly to senior and executive-level hiring managers
  • Refine recruiting performance metrics and reporting dashboards
  • Provide market insight and compensation feedback to HR leadership
  • Maintain compliance with all applicable employment regulations

Occasional travel to divisions and the home office is expected for relationship building and in-person collaboration.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of executive or leadership-level recruiting experience
  • Construction, mission-critical, data center, industrial, or complex project recruiting experience preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver measurable hiring results
  • Strong sourcing expertise using modern ATS and recruiting platforms
  • High business acumen and professional judgment
  • Relocation to Atlanta, Valdosta (GA), or Ohio (Columbus) is required.

Why Ace Electric

  • Established multi-state electrical contractor with complex, high-demand projects
  • Represent a company with an excellent reputation and attractive people-first safety culture
  • Sustained and accelerating growth
  • Innovative, collaborative, fast-paced environment
  • Strong benefits package including medical, dental, vision, and 401(k) with match
  • Performance-based bonus structure tied to company and individual performance

If you want to be a part of building something that matters we want to talk to you.

We are not simply filling roles.
We are building leadership capacity to build America.

Ace Electric is an equal opportunity employer and maintains a drug-free workplace as part of our commitment to safety and operational excellence.
