GFT, Infrastructure, Inc. (GFT) is seeking qualified Coatings Inspectors to join our team in Hopkinton, MA.

What you'll be challenged to do:
As a Coatings Inspector, you will oversee quality assurance inspections on major bridge painting and coatings rehabilitation projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and GFT's Quality Management Protocols (QMP). This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented professional with a strong background in coating application and inspection on bridge-related projects. You'll play a vital role in maintaining structural integrity and safety while representing GFT and our client in a professional and proactive manner.
In the capacity, you will be responsible for the following:
  • Perform in-process and hold-point Quality Assurance oversight for bridge rehabilitation projects.
  • Conduct all required coating inspections and testing in compliance with project specifications and GFT's Quality Management Protocols (QMP).
  • Complete daily inspection reports to document work progress and compliance.
  • Act as a representative of the client and GFT, maintaining professionalism in both appearance and communication.
  • Be onsite during Contractor work activities, ensuring adherence to approved procedures and standards.
  • Report findings and follow instructions from GFT's coatings manager.

What you will bring to our firm:
  • High School Diploma.
  • NACE CIP 1, 2, or 3 Certifications.
  • SSPC C-3 Certification (Lead Paint Removal).
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience desired in coating application and/or inspection on bridge-related projects.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for project site visits.

Preferred Experience
  • Strong understanding of construction drawings, coatings specifications, and referenced technical standards.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for reporting and coordination.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Outlook, and Windows for documentation and reporting.
  • Ability to travel and work flexible schedules, including overtime.
  • Physically capable of working outdoors in various conditions, maneuvering challenging terrain, and passing a medical evaluation.

Compensation:
The range for this position is salary range is $72,800.00 - $110,000.00. Salary is dependent upon experience and geographic location.
