The successful candidate will be responsible for inspecting, monitoring, and verifying all civil, structural, architectural, and concrete construction activities to ensure compliance with project specifications, applicable codes and standards, approved procedures, and quality management requirements.The ideal candidate will have extensive experience performing quality inspections on large LNG, petrochemical, refinery, power generation, industrial, or infrastructure projects and possess a strong understanding of civil and structural construction practices, quality control processes, and inspection requirements.Functional job responsibilities will include but are not limited to:* Perform quality inspections of civil, structural, architectural, and concrete construction activities throughout the project lifecycle.* Verify construction work is performed in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, procedures, codes, and client requirements.* Inspect and monitor: + Site preparation and earthworks + Excavation and backfilling activities + Foundations and equipment foundations + Reinforcing steel installation + Formwork installation + Concrete placement and finishing + Anchor bolt installation and alignment + Structural steel fabrication and erection + Grouting activities + Building construction and architectural finishes + Underground utilities and drainage systems + Roadways, paving, and site development works* Verify compliance with Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), method statements, and quality procedures.* Conduct inspections for material receiving, storage, and installation activities.* Witness concrete testing, soil compaction testing, structural steel inspections, and other quality verification activities.* Review mill certificates, testing reports, inspection records, and quality documentation.* Ensure proper implementation of welding inspections associated with structural steel erection.* Identify and document non-conforming work and initiate Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) when required.* Support corrective action investigations and resolution of quality issues.* Participate in quality audits, walkdowns, deficiency tracking, punch-list activities, and turnover inspections.* Coordinate with construction, engineering, survey, subcontractor, and client representatives to resolve quality concerns.* Maintain accurate inspection records and quality documentation in accordance with project requirements.* Promote a strong safety culture and ensure all inspection activities comply with project HSE requirements.Required Education, Experience, & Skills:* Associate degree, technical certification, or equivalent industry experience in Civil Engineering, Construction Technology, or a related field OR equivalent construction experience.* Minimum **5 years of quality inspection experience** supporting LNG, petrochemical, refinery, power generation, industrial, or major infrastructure projects.* Strong knowledge of: + Civil construction practices + Structural steel erection + Concrete placement and testing + Soil compaction and earthwork requirements + Reinforcing steel installation + Foundation construction + Grouting practices + Mechanical completion and turnover requirements* Working knowledge of: + ACI (American Concrete Institute) standards + AISC (American Institute of Steel Construction) standards + ASTM standards + AWS structural welding requirements + Applicable project and client specifications* Ability to read and interpret: + Civil drawings + Structural drawings + Survey reports + Foundation layouts + Reinforcement drawings + Fabrication drawings + Construction specifications + Inspection and test plans* Experience preparing inspection reports, punch lists, and quality records.* Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.**Preferred Qualifications*** Direct LNG project experience strongly preferred.* ACI Concrete Field-Testing Technician Certification.* AWS Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) certification.* ICC, NICET, or equivalent construction inspection certifications.* Experience with large equipment foundations, LNG tank foundations, pipe rack foundations, and heavy industrial structural steel systems.* Familiarity with electronic quality management systems and turnover databases.* Previous experience supporting EPC, EPCM, or owner-led projects. #J-18808-Ljbffr
