About the Opportunity

Our client is a leading global data center operator supporting mission-critical infrastructure for enterprise, cloud, and hybrid computing environments. As a rapidly scaling business, they're building out their finance capabilities to support aggressive growth and complex capital projects across their development and construction pipeline.

This Financial Analyst role is part of a rotational development program designed to grow the next generation of finance leaders. You'll take ownership of real projects from day one, working across construction finance, capital project management, and financial planning. Reporting to the VP of Finance, you'll gain hands-on exposure to datacenter campus budgeting, construction cost analysis, debt management, and financial reporting — all while receiving active mentorship and structured career development. This is a genuine greenfield opportunity: you'll see your work directly impact project delivery and bottom-line outcomes across a $100M+ portfolio of active developments.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead finance aspects of datacenter projects from pre-construction through completion, serving as the financial partner to engineering and construction teams
  • Develop datacenter campus budgets and multi-year cashflow forecasts, analyzing construction cost data for market consistency
  • Support the pre-construction and contracting process from a finance perspective, including vendor selection and cost validation
  • Own the construction invoice review process, ensure proper accounting coding, and coordinate with accounts payable on vendor management
  • Manage month-end accruals and closeout processes for active construction projects
  • Administer project-level debt management, including compliance tracking, drawdown coordination, and cash forecasting
  • Produce clear, timely project-related forecasts and financial reporting for leadership and external stakeholders
  • Support the transition of completed projects into operational accounting and cost allocation frameworks
  • Collaborate with supply chain partners to track and optimize project costs
  • Conduct ad hoc financial analysis to support strategic initiatives and miscellaneous business needs


What You Bring

  • 0–2 years of professional experience as a Financial Analyst, Financial Consultant, or in a similar analytical finance role
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field (Master's preferred but not required)
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting practices
  • Analytical mindset with proven problem-solving and critical thinking skills
  • Ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously and deliver under pressure and tight deadlines
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong attention to detail
  • Comfortable with spreadsheet modeling and financial analysis tools
  • Collaborative team player who builds effective relationships across functions
  • Fluent in English (spoken and written)


Nice to Have

  • Experience with construction accounting or project finance
  • Familiarity with debt management or capital project workflows
  • Exposure to financial planning and analysis (FP&A) in a growth or scaling organization
  • Demonstrated ability to leverage AI tools to improve productivity and accuracy
