Description

Superior Electrical, Mechanical, and Plumbing, Inc. is a trusted provider of commercial trade services, supporting new construction, tenant improvements, and a wide range of service projects. We are currently seeking a Service Dispatcher to join our team and help coordinate daily operations for our service technicians under the direction of department management.


The ideal candidate will have experience reviewing work schedules, monitoring GPS activity, and coordinating work orders and callbacks to ensure efficient service delivery. This role is essential in maintaining clear communication between customers, technicians, and internal teams while helping keep projects on track and running smoothly.


Schedule

Sunday - Thursday 1:30 p.m. to 10 p.m. with a training schedule of Monday - Friday 1:30 p.m. to 10 p.m.


Responsibilities

  • Receive and process inbound customer emails and service technician calls
  • Provide informative and proactive customer service
  • Take detailed work order notes and communicate relevant information to internal teams
  • Schedule and coordinate service calls within department guidelines
  • Create work orders and support documentation to complete service requests
  • Monitor technician workflow and job site progress
  • Follow-up with service technicians, service managers and account managers regarding work orders, callbacks and paperwork
  • Monitor and document GPS on service technicians and provide accurate estimated time of arrivals
  • Perform other clerical duties as assigned by the department supervisor

Requirements

  • Minimum of one year of administrative experience
  • Must possess accurate data entry skills with the ability to type 35 WPM with no errors
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize workflow
  • Strong attention to detail and time management skills
  • Terminology knowledge in plumbing, electrical or construction is desired but not required
