Job description

 

Direct Counsel is representing a reputable law firm seeking a Real Estate Construction Associate to join its National Construction Practice in Miami.


About the Role

This is an excellent opportunity for a junior associate with strong drafting experience to join a nationally recognized construction practice. The role involves working on sophisticated real estate and construction-related transactions for high-profile clients and projects across the country.


Responsibilities
  • Draft, review, and revise complex agreements related to construction and real estate projects
  • Assist with negotiation of:
    • Design agreements
    • Construction contracts
    • Consulting agreements
  • Support attorneys on large-scale construction and development matters
  • Conduct legal research and prepare supporting documentation
  • Manage multiple assignments with a high level of responsibility and attention to detail

Qualifications
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience
  • Experience drafting and revising complex agreements in the real estate and/or construction industry
  • Experience with design, construction, or consulting agreements preferred (not required)
  • Strong academic credentials required
  • Excellent writing, analytical, and organizational skills
  • High attention to detail and ability to manage significant responsibility
  • Must be admitted to the Florida Bar or eligible for admission
