Position Overview

Conscious Mind Health Clinic is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Counselor to join our team on a full-time basis. This remote position allows you to provide essential mental health services to individuals in a detox center setting, promoting healing and recovery for those in need. Work Environment

In this innovative remote position, you will integrate seamlessly with our vibrant team while connecting with patients primarily located in a detoxification center. Your role will encompass both one-on-one interactions and group therapy facilitation, drawing upon advanced therapeutic techniques in a supportive virtual environment. Though the role is remote, close collaboration with our multidisciplinary team—including medical staff, nursing, and support personnel—is vital to ensure comprehensive care for our patients.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments and screenings to identify patient needs and create individualized treatment plans that address specific concerns.
• Provide crisis intervention and short-term counseling for patients facing various challenges, including substance use, trauma, anxiety, and depression.
• Lead therapeutic group sessions and workshops focused on skills development, coping mechanisms, and personal growth.
• Engage with medical personnel, support services, and community organizations to coordinate care and implement holistic treatment strategies for patients.
• Participate in outreach initiatives, such as mental health awareness campaigns, to educate the community and promote wellness.
• Maintain accurate, timely, and confidential records in compliance with medical ethics and regulatory standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your focus will be primarily on individuals dealing with addiction and mental health crises, where you will provide tailored support that addresses their unique needs. Collaborating with healthcare professionals in a detox environment, you will play a critical role in guiding patients through their recovery journey, emphasizing their mental health as a vital component of the healing process.

Qualifications

• Active state license as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).
• A Bachelor's or relevant Master's/Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field.
• In-depth understanding of mental health challenges faced by individuals in detox and other hospital settings.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for effectively engaging with a diverse patient demographic and collaborating with medical team members.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in crisis intervention and management, particularly within a healthcare or detox environment.
• Proficiency in evidence-based therapeutic practices and techniques applicable for a hospital counseling center.
• Demonstrated ability to manage diverse caseloads and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced work setting.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this full-time position ranges from USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition, we offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
