About This Role

We're looking for a van driver to join our team, providing a unique opportunity to earn a steady income while having the flexibility to pursue other interests throughout the day. As a van driver, you'll play a critical role in safely transporting students and staff to and from school, activities, and programs, while maintaining the cleanliness and safety of our vehicle.


This position is perfect for someone who enjoys working with children but doesn't want to commit to a long-term childcare role. If you're responsible, safety-conscious, and enjoy driving, we'd love to hear from you!


What You'll Do
  1. Ensure the safe transportation of children, adhering to state and center regulations.
  2. Maintain a safe and respectful environment for all passengers during transportation.
  3. Maintain order and discipline among students during transport, ensuring a smooth and efficient ride.
  4. Communicate effectively with parents, students, and staff, responding to their needs in a courteous and respectful manner.
  5. Take responsibility for the upkeep and maintenance of the center vehicle, including daily cleaning and routine servicing.
  6. Stay informed about and adhere to all center policies and state regulations.
  7. Continuously work towards personal and professional development, implementing a plan to ensure ongoing quality improvement.

Requirements
  • Must pass a full background check.
  • Clean driving record is a must.
  • Must be at least 21 years old.
  • Responsible, mature, and safety-conscious individuals are encouraged to apply.
  • Able to react quickly to emergency situations.
  • Must clear a health screening.

Nice To Haves

Prior experience driving for a public or private school would be an asset, but not a requirement.
