Work Environment

This position is remote, allowing for flexibility in your work schedule. You will collaborate with a network of professionals, including psychologists, primary care physicians, and other mental health experts, embodying a team-based approach to patient care. While most consultations will occur virtually, there is an expectation of occasional evening and weekend availability to meet the needs of clients seeking support.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough psychosocial assessments to establish accurate diagnoses and treatment plans tailored to the individual needs of patients.
• Utilize a variety of evidence-based therapeutic techniques, including solution-focused therapy, behavioral activation, motivational interviewing, and other relevant modalities to aid in patient recovery.
• Monitor and evaluate patient progress continually, adjusting treatment strategies as necessary to align with therapeutic goals.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including medical providers, to ensure an integrated approach to care that emphasizes ongoing support and health improvement.
• Assist in the management of psychotropic medications, adhering to prescribed guidelines and focusing on treatment effectiveness and adherence.
• Document and maintain detailed records of therapy sessions, patient interactions, and treatment plans in accordance with clinic policies and state regulations.
• Participate actively in case consultations and team meetings to contribute insights and foster a holistic approach to client care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your work will primarily focus on a diverse clientele, including individuals dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, and various other mental health disorders. The clinic is dedicated to serving underrepresented populations, ensuring that each client receives personalized care that respects their cultural background and unique life experiences.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited program.
• Current and valid license to practice independently as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Florida.
• A minimum of one year of experience as an independently licensed therapist, demonstrating proficiency in providing therapeutic interventions.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working in community health or integrated care settings is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems for seamless documentation and patient management.
• Additional certifications in specialized therapeutic modalities are advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary for this position ranges from $80,000 to $100,000, reflecting your skills and experience in the mental health profession. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer:
