Position Overview:
We are seeking a talented and motivated Structural Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about designing and analyzing steel connections, committed to continuous learning, and eager to contribute to exciting projects that make a real impact.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Primary responsibilities will include structural analysis for delegated steel connection design projects.
  • Typical projects would consist of steel connection design, miscellaneous steel design, and erection engineering.
  • Additional responsibilities include calculation development, steel shop drawing reviews, submittal preparation, RFI development and new calculation development to enhance efficiencies.
  • Utilize analysis software programs such as Ram Connection, RISA Connection, Excel, Idea Statica, BlueBeam, Trimble Connect and Revit.
  • Review 3-D BIM models to aid in building design, connection design and shop drawing reviews.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in civil or structural engineering.
  • Master's degree in civil or structural engineering is a plus.
  • PE certification is a plus.
  • 2+ years of structural engineering experience.
  • An advanced understanding of relevant building codes, materials, and standards.
  • Enthusiasm and desire to succeed and develop technical skills.
  • Excellent communication skills are required, both verbal and written.
  • Software skills with any of the following are a plus: Ram Connection, RISA Connection, Excel, Idea Statica, BlueBeam, Trimble Connect and Revit.
  • Attention to detail, logical problem-solving skills, and strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to thrive under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Passion for steel design and growing professional knowledge and skills in steel construction.
