Job description

Job title: Pharmacy Technician
Location: Cincinnati, OH


We are seeking a Pharmacy Technician to assist in the preparation and distribution of medications under the direct supervision of pharmacy leadership and pharmacists. In this role, you will support daily pharmacy operations while maintaining accuracy, efficiency, and a positive, professional presence across all interactions within the hospital.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Re-orders drugs and supplies, rotates stock, checks expiration dates and cleans assigned area.
  • Performs as a receptionist at the RX window, distributes medications, completes paperwork, and assists with calls and issues.
  • Maintains a safe, clean, and orderly department environment.
  • Follows departmental and hospital safety policies and procedures.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.


Requirement:

  • Required: 2+ years of experience as Pharmacy Technician, Must be certified!
  • Responsible for handling cash as it pertains to selling prescriptions or other pharmacy items
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Passed an examination approved by the Ohio State Board of Pharmacy (PTCB/ CPhT)


Additional Notes:

  • Preferred: Hospital Pharmacy experience
  • Sign-on bonus of up to $10,000
  • Relocation Bonus: Up to $10,000
