We are seeking a Project Engineer - Configuration Data Management with experience in coordinating planning, organization, control, integration and completion of engineering projects within area of assigned responsibility. The Project Engineer plans and formulates the Engineering program, reviews product design for compliance with engineering principles, company standards, customer contract requirements, and related specifications. You will also evaluate and approve design changes, specification and drawing releases, and coordinate activities concerned with technical developments, scheduling, and resolving engineering design and test problems.
Candidate will work Configuration and Data Management (CDM) processes, procedures, and tools supporting the FBM program implementation of new and existing hardware documentation requirements. The CDM candidate should have a sound understanding of CDM life-cycle activities.
Candidate will establish change orders and prepare change authorization and documentation by company and subcontractor. Review engineering change data and coordinate changes with engineering, quality, support manufacturing, and others. Ensure customer requirements are implemented, approvals are captured, and compliant with configuration management policies.
Candidate will be responsible for the process of capturing and releasing classified documentation and models in accordance with the DOD Contract, and support the FBM team members with markings, formatting, and handling of any documentation as necessary.
Candidate will provide general coordination and implementation of CDM requirements, policies, and practices pertaining to configuration identification (i.e. baseline documentation, hardware, and software) in accordance with business and contract requirements.
Candidate will be responsible for release process of documentation, processing CDRLs/SDRLs in accordance with the Contract SOW, Subcontract's SOWs, 1423s, and DD250s.
Candidate will be responsible for capturing Electronic Data Files in classified and unclassified areas.
Candidate will be responsible for handling classified documents.
