Configuration Management Specialist, Journeyman Full time, APG, MD Secret Clearance Job Description: Responsibilities The SWCMS will provide functional and empirical analysis related to software CM plans and procedures. The SWCMS's full time duty location will be onsite at APG. Must have experience in the following: * Writing Configuration Management (CM) Plans and audit software change procedures, software development, software testing, and software documentation to verify compliance with software CM plans and procedures. * Participating in design reviews, configuration audits, and evaluations of software products to ensure proper identification, control, and status accounting of the software baseline for each system. * Working on code management, audits, baseline identification, and preparation and control of documentation for software projects. * Utilizing Configuration Management tool ( JIRA, puppet, Confluence, Git Hub etc) tools and scripting. * Implementing Configuration Management process in DEVSECOPS/ Agile development environment. * You will serve as a Configuration Manager (CM) and Quality Assurance (QA) Specialist. * Establish and assist in implementing Configuration Management (CM), Quality Assurance (QA) and Software License management processes * Leads and/or support configuration control boards (CCB) and Engineering Review Boards (ERB) * Collaborate with Project Lead, Technical Leads and Domain Team Leads on resource management planning meetings. * Maintain confirguration control of SOP and other branch/organizational documentation for standardization. * Familiar with to implement Configuration Management process in DEVSECOPS/ Agile and CI/CD environment using the Configuration Management tools. * Establish and/or maintain procedures to initiate, record, review, approve, and track baseline modification requests. * Maintain a configuration management library/repository for baseline products. * Familiarity with Software release process and Configuration Management tool. * Support innovation and process improvement efforts. * Reviews and interprets, command policies and guidelines for data and system security including DISA Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIG) in support to IAVA and full releases. * Conduct QA assessments on internal and external products to ensure stakeholder meets are met. * Conduct After Action Reviews (AAR) and develop After Action Reports in response to scheduled and rapid electronic warfare events. * Capture, document, and incorporate Lessons Learned into organizational processes * Conduct other CM & QA tasks as directed from CM Team Lead * Two (2) years of experience within the last 4 years.
