Job description

Job Summary:
MDAEdge is seeking a Configuration Manager/CDRL Data Manager (CM/DM) III with Top Secret Clearance for a position at Hanscom Air Force Base in Bedford, MA. The role involves providing expert support in configuration management, CDRL data management, quality assurance, and program/project management, ensuring compliance with the program's Configuration Management Plan and related processes.
Responsibilities:
• Manage software configuration, engineering documents, design drawings, engineering changes, and design audits to maintain Government ownership of the technical baseline.
• Maintain CM files, including configuration identification, change control, and status accounting.
• Convene and manage Configuration Control Boards (CCBs) and Technical Review Boards and participate in cross-functional change control boards.
• Review and analyze contractor CM programs and CDRL data for accuracy, completeness, and compliance.
• Archive acquisition and program documentation; track data deliverables and ensure integrity of baseline configurations (major/minor releases, patches).
• Prepare for and support audits such as Physical Configuration Audits (PCAs) and Functional Configuration Audits (FCAs).
• Support the development and administration of CM plans, maintaining design traceability and integrity.
• Facilitate communication and coordination among program management, systems engineers, quality managers, and design/manufacturing engineers in an integrated product team environment.
• Maintain CM libraries and software repositories, supporting licensing, packaging, and software delivery.
• Perform quality assurance checks on system baselines and audit IT system configurations.
• Oversee CDRL package revisions, data calls, and Data Requirements Review Boards (DRRBs).
• Ensure compliance with DoD directives and regulations for technical data management and distribution.
Qualifications:
Required:
• Progressive 4+ years of experience in DoD IT Configuration Management and hardware/software configuration audits.
• Proficient in CM tools for inventory control, version control, and data management.
• Strong knowledge of change control processes, Change Control Board roles, and CM documentation.
• Experience with baseline administration across multiple environments and software development life cycles.
• Skilled in the MS Office Suite and database data entry/manipulation.
• Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, ability to multitask, and work independently and collaboratively.
• Strong communication skills, including developing management briefings and documenting technical information.
Preferred:
• Experience supporting major program reviews and audits (Technical Interchange Meetings, Preliminary Design Reviews, Critical Design Reviews, Configuration Control Boards, PCAs, FCAs).
• Familiarity with DoDI 5230.24, DoDD 5230.25, DoD 5010.12-M, DoDI 5000.02, DFARS 252.227-7013/7014, and related databases (ASSIST, MICT).
